Her practice focuses on employment-based immigration, corporate compliance, global mobility strategy, and consular processing. Paulina has extensive experience preparing and managing a broad range of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters, including H-1B (cap and cap-exempt), L-1, O-1, P-1, TN, E-2, J-1, and F-1 visas, as well as PERM labor certifications and EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3 immigrant petitions. She regularly advises corporate clients on workforce planning, prevailing wage strategy, labor certification processes, sponsorship programs, and I-9 compliance, and partners closely with HR teams and business stakeholders to deliver practical, compliant immigration solutions. Her experience also includes responding to complex Requests for Evidence and handling appeals before the Administrative Appeals Office. Paulina has significant experience with consular processing, advising clients on visa application strategy, DS-160 and DS-260 preparation, interview readiness, and post-issuance entry considerations across a range of U.S. consulates. She has worked with clients across diverse industries, supporting both high-volume programs and individualized, strategic matters.
Prior to joining D&S, Paulina worked at both boutique and large global immigration law firms, where she advised multinational clients on employment-based immigration and global mobility strategy. She also gained government-side experience at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, Civil Division, where she assisted with immigration-related litigation matters, including denaturalization proceedings.
In addition to her employment-based practice, Paulina has experience in family-based immigration, removal defense, deportation waivers, asylum matters, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) petitions, and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) cases.
Paulina is a first-generation American and the daughter of Eastern European immigrants. She is fluent in Polish and brings both personal perspective and practical insight to advising international clients navigating the U.S. immigration system.
